Our mission is to promote students' intellectual, ethical, and social development through a challenging instructional program and a caring classroom and school environment. The Hudson Public Schools has been recognized as a leader in instructional innovation. We have created and implemented many innovative programs. We have developed a K-12 community service learning program that nurtures an ethic of care and service among our students. We provide a semester-based block schedule for our high school so that students can focus their attention on studying a topic in depth and faculty can provide more support and assistance through a reduced student-teacher ratio. In addition, we provide an extensive dual enrollment program for our juniors and seniors so that they may attend local area universities while in high school. These and many other efforts are detailed in this website.

In addition, we have attempted to provide you with information on each of our schools, our curriculum expectations, the variety of programs that we offer, our corporate and community partners, the grants we've received, and the community of Hudson as a whole. You will also find articles that members of our staff have written and links to other sources of information about particular programs and partners. We have developed this website as one way to strengthen the important partnership we have with parents and the community. We hope it is also helpful to those educators, parents, and students outside our community who are interested in the work we are pursuing.
