Eyemobile Minimize
One of the goals of the Hudson Public School nurses this school year is to identify earlier in the year difficulties that students may have with learning due to vision and hearing problems. To help the nurses with this goal, the Stow Lions’ Club volunteers are coming with their 38 foot EyeMobile van to the schools during the last two weeks of September. These volunteers have been trained to perform basic vision and hearing screening and report back to the school nurses, who will be reviewing results and sending letters home to parents and guardians of students who had difficulties with the screenings. All Lions Club volunteers have undergone CORI checks and have participated in similar screening days in Stow and Bolton last year.
