Due to the many changes in our Kindergarten, Elementary and Middle Schools, the capacity of our bus fleet is more limited than in recent years. Letters are being sent to all of these students identifying their transportation eligibility for the 2013-2014 school year. If you do not receive a letter by August 15th, please contact using the Bus Stop Change Request/Inquiry Form link below and let us know.
Kindergarten, Elementary and Middle School students will now be walkers or bus pass carriers. Bus passes will be mailed to all students in K-7 that are eligible for transportation services as outlined in the School Committee Student Transportation policy. We anticipate that our buses will be at capacity for the Forest Avenue, Mulready, Farley and Quinn and ask that bus riders use the bus stops assigned to them. Please be sure that your child is riding the bus to which she/he is assigned.
Bus stops are no longer published for the Elementary or Middle Schools. Students that are eligible for transportation services will receive their bus pass along with their bus stop assignments in the mail. Unfortunately due to District grade reconfigurations these changes are necessary and only students with bus passes should be waiting at bus stops to be transported to and from school.
There are no changes in the High School transportation plan as this time. The High School was not affected by the District grade reconfiguration. Bus passes are not required for High School Students. Please refer to the High School Bus Routes/Stops published on our website below.
We appreciate the difficulty that change can bring and hope that we can all work together to navigate these changes in the best way possible.
