One More Example Of Why We Are Hudson Proud

posted Oct 27, 2014, 5:16 AM by Jodi Fortuna
The homecoming rally is a traditional display of school spirit. The Hudson High Homecoming Rally on October 17th displayed the spirit of service that is such a part of who we are in Hudson. During the homecoming rally many of our young ladies and a few of our teachers donated their hair to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children, under age 21, in the United States and Canada suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Dr. Miriam Meyer, Director of Special Education at the High School, spearheaded this event with the help of Mrs. Vivirito and the HHS Community Council. Our hope was to get as many students involved as possible by either donating their hair or giving a financial donation - everything was welcome! I hope that you enjoy this video that captures part of the fun. I remain Hudson Proud! ~Jodi
