The Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA) sponsors the annual All-State Music Festival & Concert, held in conjunction with the Music Educators Conference.  The caliber of student musicianship from across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts makes participation in this festival a distinct honor, and an emotionally and musically rich and rewarding experience. Seven students represented Hudson High School early on Sunday morning, January 25th, 2015 (rescheduled from Saturday, due to snow).  Those students were:

Buren Andrews (tenor voice, Grade 11)

Kathryn Benson (percussion, Grade 12)

Taylor Benson (bass voice, Grade 12)

Andrew Doherty Munro (clarinet, Grade 12)

Brooke Leibowitz (alto voice, Grade 12)

Kathleen Meyer (soprano voice, Grade 12)

Andrew Nugent (tenor voice, Grade 12).

Four of our students,  Buren Andrews, Taylor Benson, Brooke Leibowitz, and Andrew Nugent. have been selected for the festival, which will be held on March 19-21, 2015.  The festival involves two full days of  after school rehearsals  at the Boston Seaport Hotel / World Trade Center, and morning dress rehearsals followed by a concert scheduled for 1:00pm, on Saturday, March 21st 2015, at Symphony Hall, Boston, MA.

We are so proud of our students because of their talent, dedication, and effort. We ask you to join us in congratulating them.
