Student Services

As a district, Hudson Public Schools strives to fully educate children who are diagnosed with a disability which impacts their ability to access the general curriculum. In accordance with both state and federal regulations, we provide a variety of services. Our focus and goal is to include students in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE). Our special education faculty members, including support staff, are comprised of highly qualified and/or certified professionals.

The special education staff at each school strives to provide an educational environment where our students are supported and challenged to make progress. We believe that a strong partnership with parents/guardians is key to student success. To that end, we view our parents as partners in the educational process, sharing in both advocacy and responsibility. This partnership is necessary to help students achieve their highest potential.

2017-2018 SEPAC Meeting Schedule

Hold the date:  SEPAC Hudson will host the Basic Rights presentation on February 13, 2018.   More information will follow as the event gets closer.

Hudson Unified Sports is pleased to offer a new fall activity for students in grades K-12, to be held every Tuesday and Thursday in October from 5:45-7:15 at the Quinn Middle School Gymnasium. The Unified Sports program aims to provide an opportunity for students with either a learning or physical developmental delay ("athletes") to participate with typical students ("partners) in team-oriented sports. Hopefully, the end result is maximum success for everyone and we have FUN!

Register online with nhudson@hudson.k12.ma.us or call 978-562-6115 with your child's name(s), age, school, and indicate "athlete" or "partner", plus your email or phone contact. This fall's activity--noodleball--is free of charge and all equipment is provided. Please wear sneakers and comfortable play clothes.

Any questions, contact Nancy Hudson at the above email/phone. Looking forward to seeing you on October 3rd!
