Absence
Please use the "Call-Back" system to notify the school if your child is to be absent on a particular day. Each student is required to submit a written absence excuse for each day he/she is not in attendance. This note should clearly state the date(s) and reason for the absence. A doctors' note is required for any absence exceeding 3 days.
Foreseen absences
Occasionally, because of an appointment, a student must be dismissed before the usual dismissal time. A written request for early dismissal should be turned into the office in the morning. If this is not possible, a phone call to the school will suffice and the pupil will be notified of his early dismissal. Verbal messages from the child are not acceptable. Anyone picking up a student must come into the school to be identified by the student and sign the student out. A child will be marked absent for the day if they arrive after 11:00.
