Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled twice each year - November and April. Reminders are sent out prior to these conferences informing parents of dates and times. However, parents are encouraged not to wait for the regularly scheduled conferences if a problem arises. Teachers prefer to deal with such instances as soon as possible. Many potential problems can be averted by early action and involvement between parents and the school.
Report Cards and Warning Notices
Report cards are issued four times per year. The first and third report cards are given to parents at the parent-teacher conference. The second and fourth cards are sent home in sealed envelopes with the students. Warning notices are distributed for a child who is in danger of failing (Needs significant improvement or D or below).
