Important Note to Parents and Guardians: Students in grades K-12 are issued district-owned Chromebooks or iPads. While these Chromebooks and iPads are on the district's network during the school day, students are protected by the district's content filtering program. The district has provided a level of content filtering appropriate at each school building. Once Chromebooks or iPads are connected to a student' s home internet connection, it becomes the parents' or guardians' responsibility to monitor and provide appropriate content filtering to protect their child(ren). Additional resources can be found on the right under the Additional Resources section (Parent Digital Citizenship Information).

Hudson Public Schools implemented a 1:1 Technology program at the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year. Over the past several years, we have been expanding the program.  Starting the 2020-2021 school year, all students K-12 will be issued a district device.  We believe technology should be used as a dynamic tool enhancing the teaching and learning environment as we prepare our students to be continuous learners and innovative, knowledgeable, and contributing members in the community. Technology needs to be functional and available when and where it' s needed in order to properly and effectively support and enhance critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication for all stakeholders in the classroom.

Hudson is not a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) district.  Students must use the device issued to them.  Students may not bring their own Chromebook , Computer or iPad to school.
